From cc6a226bcf1c2939587adf6fec0602567a1f5edc Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Nick Fagerlund Date: Fri, 18 Dec 2020 13:13:45 -0800 Subject: [PATCH] website: Remove provider category indexes, reduce main list As of December 18, 2020, we've redirected nearly all of the provider documentation that used to live on terraform.io: - For providers that got published on the Registry, we redirected each docs page to the corresponding Registry docs page. - For providers that never got adopted by a new publisher, we archived the GitHub repository and redirected each docs page to the corresponding Markdown source file on github.com. (For an example of these redirects, see https://www.terraform.io/docs/providers/telefonicaopencloud/r/s3_bucket.html) There are ten providers left that we haven't redirected. These ones got adopted by new publishers and _will_ end up on the Registry, but they aren't quite ready to ship and get their permanent redirects, and we don't want to sabotage their SEO by 301ing to a temporary destination. --- website/docs/providers/index.html.markdown | 213 ++---------------- .../providers/type/cloud-index.html.markdown | 62 ----- .../type/community-index.html.markdown | 15 -- .../type/database-index.html.markdown | 23 -- .../providers/type/infra-index.html.markdown | 44 ---- .../providers/type/major-index.html.markdown | 35 --- .../providers/type/misc-index.html.markdown | 29 --- .../type/monitor-index.html.markdown | 39 ---- .../type/network-index.html.markdown | 42 ---- .../providers/type/vcs-index.html.markdown | 22 -- website/layouts/language.erb | 44 +--- 11 files changed, 15 insertions(+), 553 deletions(-) delete mode 100644 website/docs/providers/type/cloud-index.html.markdown delete mode 100644 website/docs/providers/type/community-index.html.markdown delete mode 100644 website/docs/providers/type/database-index.html.markdown delete mode 100644 website/docs/providers/type/infra-index.html.markdown delete mode 100644 website/docs/providers/type/major-index.html.markdown delete mode 100644 website/docs/providers/type/misc-index.html.markdown delete mode 100644 website/docs/providers/type/monitor-index.html.markdown delete mode 100644 website/docs/providers/type/network-index.html.markdown delete mode 100644 website/docs/providers/type/vcs-index.html.markdown diff --git a/website/docs/providers/index.html.markdown b/website/docs/providers/index.html.markdown index 285496a9a..c02bcca8a 100644 --- a/website/docs/providers/index.html.markdown +++ b/website/docs/providers/index.html.markdown @@ -1,223 +1,38 @@ --- layout: "language" -page_title: "Providers" +page_title: "Provider Documentation" sidebar_current: "docs-providers" description: |- - Terraform is used to create, manage, and manipulate infrastructure resources.
