# `trimprefix` Function

`trimprefix` removes the specified prefix from the start of the given string. If the string does not start with the prefix, the string is returned unchanged.
## Examples
```
> trimprefix("helloworld", "hello")
world
```
```
> trimprefix("helloworld", "cat")
helloworld
```
